There are buses to the
city center by the south and west gates. The fare is 1 yuan/person (2 when the
A/C is on). You can take them to go to the center of the city or the train
station.
The public transport in
Bengbu is convenient. Please hold tight standing in a bus or buckle up in a cab
for your own safety. Always keep your belongings attended in a public transport
and do not forget to take them when getting off.
Taxis are 24/7 available
here and they charge by kilometers. They have lightboxes on the top for your
easy identification. The information of the driver is on the service
supervision card in the car, including the photo, name, company, and the
hotline number. There is also a sign (‘for hire’) behind the windshield showing
if the car is available. You can ask for the invoice when the service ends, and
keep it in case you need to contact the driver again or the company he belongs
to.
